If you receive an ACCESS DENIED message, please visit myaccount.sc.edu and click the Account Settings field to setup multifactor authentication.
For security reasons, please log out and exit your web browser when you are finished accessing services that require authentication.
If you have signed up for multifactor authentication under myaccount.sc.edu, use one of the following to login:
- Network Username - This is primary method enrolled students, faculty, staff, and affiliates use to connect to university systems. This credential is the first portion of your official university email address (before @mailbox.sc.edu or @email.sc.edu).
- VIP ID - This eight-digit number is assigned when a person applies for admission to the university or for financial aid. Admitted students, faculty, staff and affiliates must authenticate with their Network Username.
- Blackboard Auxiliary ID - Allows access to Blackboard for users who do not have a Network Username or VIP ID but have a legitimate need to access the system.
